Why is it...

That our primary colors are red, yellow, and blue, but we see in colors of red, GREEN, and blue?

In art we use the colors red, yellow, and blue to make all the other colors we use. Green is not a primary color, it's a secondary color, but the rods and cones in our eyes that pick up the light that translates into color for us use red, blue, and green light, instead of red, blue, and yellow.

maybe because green is a more important color to be sensitive to than yellow?

also, This morning when the phone went 'green green green', I came to pink it up, and said 'Yellow'?
