Oh goodness... could you imagine a current day Continental Congress? I know there was lots of fighting and what not in the first one, but now days it seems that for the most part politicians are not in politics for the common good, but for their own personal power struggles and pride. I can't imagine what they would come up with in a new Constitution, in this day and age of anything goes.
And PS... I think the president should definitely have veto power... I wish he could have line item veto power, but I think that might have been taken away a few years back.
